Four Nine Design is one of the RARE companies that understands that 'low vibrations' doesn't just mean low displacements on their own cold finger. Accelerations are much more pertinent. “We love Four Nine Design cryostats. Most cryostat vendors get their UHV for free from cryo pumping, so they take liberties with greases, and varnishes, and other swamp algae that should never be there. Not FND. They get to UHV by baking, so before any cryo pumping. The Ren-Sci UHV magnet has a natural home here. If you open your cryostat and it smells, that's a swamp vessel. Never happens with 49 cryostats. UHV clean! »
