Maximum flexibility for integrating Four9 Vector magnet & a wide variety of superconducting magnets when the time comes.
ABOUT
The lead pairs can support up to 50 Amps per axis. The SK300 system has the cooling power to support superconducting coils and the volume to arrange three axis coils.
With its large Ø110 mm bore and generous optical access, the system supports a wide range of experimental setups. The multi-axis field control allows users to create and manipulate magnetic field vectors with exceptional accuracy, opening new possibilities for experiments that require dynamic field orientation.
A 250mm diameter cold plate
Only what you need is on your optical table, the cold head and pumps are offset to throw vibrations to the ground rather than on your setup
Low vibration platform with copious feedthroughs and optical access, and plenty of cooling power to handle superconducting magnets and <4K inserts
The height of the sample area can be easily and extensively adjusted to suit the type of magnet to be integrated.
A 250mm diameter cold plate include eight interface blocks. Whether your research demands high-field strength, flexible geometry, or seamless optical integration, this vector magnet provides the performance and adaptability needed to push experimental boundaries.

“Congrats Four Nine Design on building a stellar line of (truly) low vibration cryostats. We hard bolted this Renaissance Scientific STM to the 4K plate. Four Nine Design is one of the RARE companies that understands that 'low vibrations' doesn't just mean low displacements on their own cold finger. Accelerations are much more pertinent. Four Nine Design gets this and we love them for it.”
“We love Four Nine Design cryostats. Most cryostat vendors get their UHV for free from cryo pumping, so they take liberties with greases, and varnishes, and other swamp algae that should never be there. Not FND. They get to UHV by baking, so before any cryo pumping. The Ren-Sci UHV magnet has a natural home here. If you open your cryostat and it smells, that's a swamp vessel. Never happens with 49 cryostats. UHV clean! »
When we launched Qnity, Four9 was the first manufacturer that came to mind. We had spent months admiring their cryostats in our spare time, and now we are proud to represent their exceptional products.
Through our numerous visits to laboratories, we quickly understood that space is a critical concern for users. Traditional cryostats with high cooling power, a 250mm sample space, and a 3D magnet often occupy an entire optical table and a significant portion of the lab.
Four9 addresses this issue by offering all these features without requiring any lab reconfiguration. The SideKick magnet system installs conveniently on the edge of your optical table, delivering performance without the bulk.
With the SideKick architecture, the cold head and side tower are positioned on the floor. This design keeps unwanted vibratory energy from the closed-cycle cryocooler away from the table, allowing it to float freely on pneumatic feet.
